Tyler’s 5th Birthday Party

When we asked Tyler what kind of birthday party he wanted he immediately told us he wanted a train party. So, being the doting parents we are, we gladly obliged. Of course, we may have gone a little overboard with the theme. Alana did a little research over the internet and found some crazy train party ideas, including the taped train tracks that went all around the room and the Thomas the Tank Engine photo area. It was all worth it in the end because Tyler was very happy with his “choo choo” party.

Welcome to Tyler’s train party!

Be sure and check out the different station stops.

Be sure and stop to take a photo with Thomas off to the right…

and decorate your goodie bag and a picture frame.

Pizza station, some assembly required.

Tyler tries out the photo station…

and so does Daddy.

The 3 amigos: Thomas, Tyler and Harrison

The Thomas piñata didn’t last very long.

Candy!!!!

Instead of cake we had brownies since Tyler prefers them.

The party left Tyler and Grandpa exhausted at the end of the day.

Tyler tries out his new water toy he got for his birthday.

Even Grandma and Grandpa took a picture with Thomas.

Another Birthday Party

We were invited to a dual birthday party the weekend following Tyler’s party and it was a ton of fun. There were water slides and play pools galore. Tyler loves playing in the water and was stoked to see the giant water slide structure.

Woo hoo!

So cool.

Water fun.

Playing takes a lot out of you.

A Memorial Day Picnic

On Memorial Day we got together with some new friends for a picnic/BBQ at the local park. It was fun to just sit back and relax with friends for a change.

Tyler’s Latest Shenanigans

Daddy caught a lizard for Tyler to keep for a few hours. We fed it some of our toads’ crickets, which it devoured, and then set him free to catch more bugs in the yard.

Tyler got his own pictures of the lizard.

He had a cool blue belly.

Tyler’s such a crazy man!
